| In recent years, media and information technology together to create a large number ofmedia spectacles. The spectacles around film are endless, which bring new changes tohuman’s ideology and daily life. Confronting the impact of the visual culture and theinfluence of the Western spectacle theory, more and more domestic academics start workingon some problems about films from the perspective of spectacle. In view of this phenomenon,the article tries to study the present situation and problems of the Chinese film spectaclethoery, then make some theoretical construction and contribute my efforts to the developmentof the domestic film theory research.In the beginning, the introduction of the article mainly introduces the background andcurrent situation of the research. It also explains the writing ideas and purpose.Chapter one analyzes the background and causes of the formation of the Chinese filmspectacle theory. Firstly, it makes a brief discussion of the meaning and development of theWestern film spectacle theory. Secondly, it analyzes the formation process of the Chinese filmin a diachronic way. Furthermore, it gives a detailed analysis of the reason why this researchrises from two aspects: theoretical environment and creative practice.Chapter two mainly focuses on the manifestation of the Chinese film spectacle research.Summarizing the main features of this study, it divides these into three discourse fields:aesthetic, accept and ideological. And it tries to reveal the characteristics, problems andlimitations presented by the research in the different discourses fields by depth study.Chapter three makes certain value judgments of the Chinese film spectacle theory from two aspects: research obstacles and theoretical significance. At first, it summarizes anddiscussed three issues in the study of Chinese film spectacle: the generalization of use, thedisagreement of appellation and the limitation of connotation. In addition, it states this newtheoretical research paradigm’s positive significance for the development of China’s filmtheory.To conclusion, the article gives a summary and makes several suggestions to the Chinesefilm spectacle theory. |
