| Fang Dongmei,one of the prominent scholars of modern new-Confucianism. He wasversed in both Chinese and western philosophy,and enhanced the spiritual value of Chineseculture as his responsibility.Fang Dongmei has his own unique philosophy system that is thelife ontology.When he was developing this system,he use the life philosophy of westernBergson,the organic philosophy of Whitehead,and the philosophy thoughts of Changes,butthe footing points turn back to the traditional Chinese philosophy at last.As to the point of traditional culture philosophy,Fang Dongmei argued that the attitudestowards the different kinds of school of thought in Chinese traditional culture should in anopen mind. At first,Fang Dongmei believed that to research Chinese philosophy we shouldassure that there were no error in the next process research.Consequently,he placed emphasison researching original philosophy,especially in original Confucian philosophy and originalTaoist philosophy.He thought those should put stress on researching.This article aims at by using the research of original Confucian philosophy and originalTaoist philosophy,the analysis of Fang Dongmei’s life ontology including life philosophy’sstructure and content,finding the relationship between them and the life ontology. |
