Shao Yong is a renowned Yi Jing scholar and thinker. Shao Yong derived from ChenTuan and created prenatal image-number theory, of which Huang Ji Jing Shi is hisrepresentatives. Shao Yong’s prenatal image-number theory is the derivation and developmentof Yi Zhuan. He constructed forming graph and theoretical system of the universe. ShaoYong’s Yi-ology includes the logical thoughts of analogy. Shao Yong drew and explained theconcept of category and brought it into his image-number system as the basis ofimage-number deduction.Shao Yong argued that numbers originated from transcendental moral principles. Hebelieved that everything in the world has a number and everything can be deduced througharithmetization. Shao Yong focused on analogy and arithmetization. He applied numberingand number method to image-number deduction, and took the process of image-numberdeduction as the process of arithmetization. Shao Yong devoted all his life to Huang Ji JingShi, the great book of Yi-ology. The book applies Yi theory and numbers to analyze origin ofuniverse, evolution of nature and historical change of society. Huang Ji Jing Shi created a setof logical deduction methods named Yuan, Hui, Yun, Shi, which is based on He Luo numbers,Zhou YI Yin Yang, the evolution of universe and human.Shao Yong’s Yi-ology takes an important role in history of Chinese logical thoughts. Itnot only enriched the Chinese logical thoughts, but also greatly influenced the development ofYi-ology.
