Spain is one of the ancient civilizations which has a lone history.What we can learn from its history is that it is a well matched country from Europe, Africa and Asia.Multi-ethnic integration, making the Spanish folk music is very rich, the music here confluence of three continents, formed a unique music culture. From the point of Spanish music, before the17th century, especially during the Renaissance, music is quite prosperous. But by the early18th century, the Spanish folk music development stagnated. Until the middle of the19th century, by the rise of Felipe Pedrell,Isaac Albeniz,Enrique Granados, Manuel de Falla, represented of Spanish national music sent it to revival.Started from the concept of "culture", as the research subject of those comosers which presented in the late19th and early20th century of Spainish national music,summarized the geography, history, local conditions,customs and the unique music style of Spain in this article. Based on it,conducted more deep and comprehensive’s cognition on life, works and create style of representative composers such as Felipe Pedrell,Isaac Albeniz,Enrique Granados,Manuel de Falla etc. Then sum up overall style characteristics of the composer and music contribution, and valued the historical meaning and evaluation of them in the music history.This article is divided into four chapters, the first chapter is the summary of music cultural community in European and the general situation of Spain, mainly discusses what is "cultural community", and summarized in five aspect of Spain which on geographical environment, history, religion, folk customs, culture and art.The second chapter is overview the whole music history of Spain and music presentation, taking the time division of western music history as a basic standard to summarize the development of the Spain music in every period, then introduced three aspects on main ways of music presentation-folk song, instrumental music, and dances. The third chapter is discussing on the Spanish national music group which is an important section of this article, mainly to describe the representative figures such as Felipe Pedrell, Isaac Albeniz, Enrique Granados and Manuel de Falla who presented in the late19th and early20th century,take a detail description from the aspects of their life and create style.The last chapter is overviewing the whole article, calling for us to better protect ethnic music and other non-material cultural heritage, making the cultural inheritance going on.
