The Inspiration Of Japanese Rimpa Fraction To Modern Meticulous Creation

To study the style of Japanese Rimpa painting, in this study I analyzed the color, structure and essence in this Japanese pai ting school. Comparing the pattern in the Rimpa painting with the traditional pattern in Japanese painting,I explored the beauty of using lines as the decoration and the artistic exaggeration in the shapes. In addition, I applied this feature from Rimpa painting into my artistic creation, summarized my reflection and experiences during the progress of painting.In this paper, I also searched for the integration point between the Japanese Rimpa painting and the modern collaborate-style painting, which to analyze the style and features in the modern collaborate-style painting. Based on the development of Rimpa painting and my enlightenment and reflection, I discussed and explored the following three topics is this paper:Firstly, I searched for a large number of art works from Tawaraya Sotatsu, Honami Koetsu and Hanko Okada to analyze the features in decoration painting and how they applied color, structures and patterns in their painting with the expression of essence in Japanese culture. Secondly, collecting the art works that are influenced by the Rimpa painting, I discussed the styles, patterns and contexts in these paintings. Thirdly, I discussed my enlightenments and reflection in studying Rimpa painting and how my painting style is derived from it.
