At present, Fengyang Phoenix Painting have caused some scholars’attention at home, from the view of the relevant researches, the scholars paid their main attention on Fine Arts and Folklore Studies. Based on all these academic achievements, the paper attempts to analysize Fengyang Phoenix painting artistic language from a new perspective of the cultural connotation.Firstly this paper interprets the cultural connotation of Fengyang Phoenix Painting, all these want to demonstrate and judge the Phoenix Painti’s value as the one cultural heritage, which can help us further study Phoenix painting. In the first chapter, the contents can be classified into three aspects. The first is from the historical and cultural aspect of formation, the second is to analysize their cultural connotation; the third is to explain the cultural value in practice. This part elaborates the spiritual basis as well as cultural phenomenon used in practice in the round.Secondly, the paper wants to analyze the features of painting’s expression from the unique molding and moral idea. The chapter expounds the specificity of artistic expression from four angles as thinking thought, visual, art technique and aesthetic appeal.Finally, the part plans to put forward some suggestions on the painting protection and development in the matter of the painting’s exploitation.To sum up, proceed from a love of local folk arts as well as a require on the reality, the author broughts forth some opinions on the painting’s protection though field survey and theoretical research, and achieve the goal of combining the innovation and practice.
