In recent years, culture industry gradually shows its vigor and vitality as animportant part of China’s cultural soft power. Under the leads of administrative meansand the laws of the market, China’s culture industry has embarked on a developmentwith Chinese characteristics. However, due to the lack of multiple factors such as law,science and technology, human resources, funds and so on, the development ofChina’s culture industry is mainly relying on the provincial administrative divisionswith no obvious overall effect through the whole country. This paper analyzessituations and existing problems of China’s culture industry, based on economics,communications and other relevant theories and methods and subjected bycross-regional development of China’s culture industry, mainly discusses the basicrequirements and patterns for cross-regional development of China’s culture industryand proposes some measures for it.This paper argues that cross-regional development of China’s culture industry hasmade some achievements, but there still are many problems to be solved in the fieldsof cross-regional business model, the distribution of industry professionals andindustrial localization; media industry boasts the features of cross-regional division oflabor and cooperation, resource sharing and complementary supplies as well as theexchange of experience and learning, thus it is necessary to speed up the process ofcross-regional development of China’s culture industry; constraints in administrativeconfiguration, policies and regulations, regional monopolies in the market to someextent hinder the promotion of cross-regional development of China’s media industry,China’s media industry should improve the degree of marketization and science andtechnology and provide suitable external environment, and take a mode that combinescreations and cooperation. By developing vertically and horizontally and sharingresource etc. we can promote the cross-regional development of China’s cultureindustry. In this way, reasonable division of the regional market and resourceallocation can be achieved and consumers can be effectively stimulated, culturalmarketing potential capacities can be exploited and profits can be maximized.In theprocess of promoting China’s cross-regional culture industry development,government and enterprises should establish policies, make the best use of humanresources, funds and technology to assure its improvements, which allows it to moveforward at speed eventually enhance the international competitiveness of China’sculture industry.III...
