The Russian and Soviet Literature have a strong influence on the ChineseLiterature, paticularly on the Modern Chinese Literature. On account of the socialconditions of the May4th new culture movement,the Chinese Literature assume anactively accepting attitude of the Russian and Soviet Literature which havecharacteristics of patriotism spirit,for the sake of life,and humanism. Therefore, theRussian and Soviet Literature marked a deep brand in the field of ideology,social andculture of the Modern Chinese Literature, hence emerge a multitude of outstandinglitterateur and produce a huge mass of excellent works.This kind of influence displaysin different area and different nation. Xinjiang Minority Nationalities Literature wasstepped into the stage of modernization after the Russian and Soviet Literatureintroduced into China. During the process of marching to modernity,XinjiangMinority Nationalities Literature heavily influenced by the Russian and SovietLiterature in artistic skill,aesthetic sense and literary spirit. As a branch of XinjiangMinority Nationalities Literature,Uyghur Literature have been initiatively andpositively in borrowing and absorbing the cream of the Russian and Soviet Literaturein the development of Uyghur Literature. Lutpulla Mutellip is one of the archetype ofthe Modern Uyghur Literature which was influenced by the Russian and SovietLiterature. This dissertation take Lutpulla Mutellip for example to explain theinfluence of Russian and Soviet Literature on the Modern Uyghur Literature which is an essential part of The Modern Chinese Literature, explore the contemporary valueand meaning of conception and works of Lutpulla Mutellip.Besides the preface and the conclusion,the rest of this dissertation consists ofthree chapters.The preface firstly defined the purpose and significance of this research, analyzethe present domestic and overseas conditon relevant to this research and the aspects ofneeding improvement, in addition expounded the academic difficulties andinnovations of this thesis.The main body is divided into three chapters. The first chapter brieflysummarizes the development of the Modern Chinese Literature to explore the absenceof Xinjiang Literature as a whole in the research on the influence of the Russian andSoviet Literature in the Modern Chinese Literature based on the influence of theModern Chinese Literature which affected by the Russian and Soviet Literature.Morden Minority Nationalities Literature in Xinjiang as an extremely important partof the Modern Chinese Literature is also influenced by it in the process of acceptingthe Russian and Soviet Literature under the background of the May4th new culturemovement, the War of Resistance Against Japan and China’s War of Liberation. Thusemerging a great number of litterateur with progressive ideas, and showing a greatview of casting the synchronization of social process. Compared wih it is much to beregrettd that those were generically mentioned in the long course of the history ofModern Chinese Literature, this have more worthy of setting people thinking.Thisdissertation use the method of statistics to show the trend and absence of the researchon the influence of Russian and Soviet Literature on the Modern Chinese Literature,furthermore, emphasize the importance and indispensable in filling the gap of theresearch on the influence of the Russian and Soviet Literature in the Modern ChineseLiterature.The second chapter on the premise of the whole absence of XinjiangLiterature,take Uyghur patriotic poet Lutpulla Mutellip as representation to discussthe influence of the Russian and Soviet Literature on the Modern Uyghur Literaturewhich is an important part of Modern Chinese Literature. In the history of ModernChinese Literature,a great many progressive uyghur scholars and litterateus’ works area rich synthesis of literary style, literary spirit and creating mode of Russian andSoviet Literature in the history of the Modern Chinese Literature. This use of literaryworks sets its apart from most other modern literary works and creat a magnificentspectacle. Lutpulla Mutellip is not only a famous patriotic poet of Uyghur, but alsoone of the archetype of the Modern Uyghur Literature which was influenced by Russian and Soviet Literature. Lutpulla Mutellip is an outstanding uyghur poet as wellas a patriotic soldiers of our country in the20thcentury. His conception and workswere deeply affected by the Russian and Soviet Literature. He use the works as sharpweapon to rebuild the society, therefore, the huge mass of poets filling with hispatriotic passion. Furthermore, he followed the vicissitude of great motherland bymeans of awareness unexpected development, it would makes the literature take animportant mission of reflecting life and creating life, and also bring time spirit andrealistic significance to his works.The third chapter explore the Chinese national spirit in the conception and worksof Lutpulla Mutellip and the influence on poets of his period.Expound thecontemporary meaning of the conception and works of Lutpulla Mutellip who isdeeply affected by the Russian and Soviet Literature. The dauntless fighting spirit andclearly defined attitude of Lutpulla Mutellip’s poems and the Chinese national spiritof his works not only played an important role in the creation of poets of LutpullaMutellip’s period, but also have a big impact on the Chinese Modern MinorityNationalities Literature and even the whole Chinese Literature. Furthermore,hisgranted affection that share weal and woe with the motherland and the people and hisstubborn efforts that achieve the liberation of the motherland and the people make apioneering contribution to construct and develop the revolutionary culture in Xinjiangtoday. Meanwhile,it has a profound and far reaching significance for strengtheningpatriotism education,and succeeding and carrying forward the Chinese national spiritwhich centering on patriotism, as well as enhancing national cohesion and theemotional appeal below new historical requirement, especially today that Xinjiangalready had the historical leap frog development.The conclusion part summarize the research findings and the inadequacy of thisdissertation.
