The Research Of Mixed Design Of Chinese And Western Text Graphic In Poster

The basic elements of poster design are graphics and text. As an important way to convey the content, text is of the great significance to all designers. Through the comparison of Chinese and Western text creative differences, this paper found that the performance of Chinese text is more inclined to the beauty of form and artistic conception. On the other hand, the western text focuses more on the form and has interest in the format of the layout and composition. Although there is a big difference between Chinese and Western text in the design, Chinese and Western text is developing in the direction of the mixed coexist in the poster design with the development of integration of eastern and western culture.This paper consists of four parts which begins with researching the differences of historical background, cultural idea, textual structure, color matching and typographic choreography of Chinese and Western text. Second, summarizing the creative law of Chinese and Western text respectively and comparing the differences of creativity of Chinese and Western text, which provides reference for mixed design. Third, researching the performance of Chinese and Western mixed design. Increasing mixed design from theory to practice from analyzing designer He Jianping’s works. Fourth, thinking about the future of the mixed design of Chinese and Western text.This paper gets235Chinese and Western textual poster design pictures,30references from collecting relevant images, literature data and participating in market research. Based on properties and types of pictures, this paper selected61pictures from above, and categorized these pictures as follows:Chinese characters creative posters, Latin alphabet creative posters, and Chinese and Western creative mixed posters. Meantime, these pictures were made a classification according to the designers and nationality respectively. Huge of textual creative designs provide powerful support for this paper.The innovation points of this paper are as follows:firstly, researching Chinese or Western text is usual, but the research of comparison of Chinese and Western text is less. Secondly, researching the trend of coexistence of Chinese and western textual design and analyzing the law of mixed design in papers are much rarer. This paper may provide support for the mixed design.
