The Analysis Of The Ethic Of Development

In the20th century60s, an American scholar Denis Goulet made a point that theconcept of development should be redefined, that made development was connectedwith ethic and started a new field the ethic of development. From the mid90s of the20th century, the Chinese scholars started to pay attention to the ethic of development,after nearly20years study, they established the theory system of the ethic ofdevelopment.This article is trying to make some basic theory and the frame of ethic ofdevelopment clear by summarizing the thoughts of the scholars at home and abroad.There are three chapters in the article, besides the foreword and the conclusion. In theforeword part, the evolution course of the ethic of development and the studysignificance of practical and theoretical has been sketched. Chapter one elaborated thebasis of the ethic of development. Chapter two elucidated the theoretical connotationof the ethic of development, which involves the essential issue, the basic principle andthe core value. Chapter three discussed the practical significance of the ethic ofdevelopment, illuminated the positive effects of the ethic of development on buildingnature environment, social environment and spiritual home.
