The academic world has gave more and more attentions on LingShuhua, who stepped into the literature world in the20s. Through reading LingShuhua’s novel, I found that the resentment in her novel. Study of resentment willdevelop a new theory view in understanding Ling Shuhua’s work and herself.This article includes three parts: introduction, test and epilogues.The introduction part reviews Ling Shuhua’s work and research status,whichpoints out the defects in research achievement of Ling Shuhua, and also putsforward the significance, issues and innovations of this article.The text consists of three chapters. The first chapter:“Hatred without hate” inLing Shuhua’s novel which combines with the historical data and works, analysisthe “Hatred without hate” comes from “the three cardinal guides and the fiveconstant virtues” and the feudal Confucianism. The first chapter is divided intothree: the first section about the ‘Hatred without hate’ in Ling Shuhua’s novelmainly clears up the way of ancient resentment and literature in the history, thenelaborated the traditional way of resentment owing to the traditional side of LingShuhua. The second section on Pent-up anguish mainly explains the Pent-upanguish in two relationships in women and men. The third section is the conclusionpart of “Hatred without Hate”. Ling Shuhua is a dare not outside the traditionalmoral codes of woman. The second chapter:“Hatred and Hate” in Ling Shuhua’snovel shows us the characters in novel are not swallowed, but began to look for“hate” vent. The first section expounds that the literature had the “hate” vent space,because of the May4th new culture movement which advocates new morals andnew culture. After this movement, the man starts getting rid of the moral codes. The second section generalized four kinds of hate expression way which come from theinfluence of new ideas: hatred between hate, self hate, the resolution of hate and“angel” who dares to love and hate. The third section summarizes the modernwoman Ling Shuhua. The third chapter summarizes the old and new Ling Shuhua.The first section analyses the cause of the old and new with Ling Shuhua’s growth,education and life experience. The second section about the meaning of the old andnew of Ling Shuhua’s resentment mainly analyses from three aspects:"enough isenough" to accept the western civilization, the "new family" Ling Shuhua femalewriting, no answer ending for finding women’s “place”.The epilogue summarized that two kinds of resentment psychology show us theold and new woman Ling Shuhua, which has the significance of the thought, cultureand work.
