The Research Of The Symmetrical Relationship Nouns In The Modern Chinese

The modern Chinese symmetrical relationship nouns are a specialsubclass of all kinds of nouns. It’s the noun which has a logic symmetricalrelationship. It requires two or more arguments, and projected into the syntacticperformance for two arguments on the relationship between. Symmetricalrelationship nouns because of its particularity, the performance characteristics interms of semantics, syntax, pragmatics, and other terms exist in all aspects ofdifferences, make it has the research significance and value.In this paper, the methods of the analysis, comparison and summarizing areused to discuss the definition of symmetrical relationship nouns, semantic features,grammatical features, lexical features and pragmatic characteristics. This paperproposed it’s own view on the demarcation of symmetrical relationship nouns,added and modified the symmetrical relationship nouns judgment formula, focusedon the differences between symmetrical relationship nouns and mono-valent noun,as well as the traditional metaphor rhetoric in the valence and rhetorical aspects dueto the symmetrical relationship nouns’ interaction, analyzed the interaction strengthdegrees of the different categories of symmetrical relationship nouns.Based on a large number of descriptions and detailed analysis about themodern Chinese symmetrical relationship nouns, the paper hopes to provide somereference for future studies, make the research of modern Chinese symmetricalrelationship nouns have new progress, so as to further improve the modern Chinesenouns system.
