The twentieth Century is an important part of the history of modernChinese art. It’s a special period that full of collision, blend, complementary, hardresearch and replacement between western art and eastern art. Chinese art is facinga huge test at this time.Chinese painting only through reform, innovation, willproduce new vitality. Otherwise, it will only be eliminated. All the trace ofinheritance, or the use of Western painting to guide Chinese art is not desirable.As a period of Chinese painting reform leaders and outstandingrepresentatives,Huang Binhong and Zhang Daqian have adopted traditionalconscious attitude. It has an important influence on the development of modernChinese landscape painting.This paper is divided into three parts, the similarities and differences betweenthe two masters in the taste of aesthetics, creation, aesthetic form. Although thesame for Chinese painting, the two have Write-Shift mode, read ten thousand books,nature outside, in the painting aesthetics concept of common cardiac etc.. Butbecause of the different treatment of traditional and Western learning, admissionways, resulting in different aesthetic ideal. The differentmorphological features, rich in diversity of modern art history in the developmentof the Chinese painting.However, the academic circles in Chinese painting has always been consideredas the authentic traditional literatural painting, Modern Chinese landscape paintingresearch and creation has the deviation of emphasize Huang and negateZhang.Analysis of the contrast, is on the basis of previous studies for two masters of painting aesthetics analyzes.It contributes to a more in-depth understanding of thetwo ideas of art, the artistic achievement of Chinese painting, especially thelandscape painting "the times" development, has special significance. The researchhas play a decisive role for the understanding of Chinese painting in the twentiethCentury, especially to understand the development and change of Chinese landscapepainting.
