The culture of ancient Shu is an important area of the ancient Chinese culture. Thewidespread concern by home and abroad professors is that the Shu civilization represented by theSanXing Ruins and the Jinha Ruins is one of the individual culture in China, which contains richcultural contents and different from the Central Plains Shang culture area.Throughout the variousstages of the formation and development of the ancient Shu civilization, the visible which not onlycontains the local characteristics of the various cultural factors, but also many non-native featuresof the various cultural factors. The paper selects gold artifacts as the main object of study toexplore the uniqueness of the ancient Shu culture from many cultural factors. Based on SanXngduiand Jinsha ruins, ancient Shu culture is independent of the Chengdu Plain outside other areas ofculture. Due to the gold artifacts unearthed in the two sites both in the quantity and variety of veryrich, and have geographical features in distinctive unique styling and craftsmanship. This thesis,as the main subject of gold artifacts unearthed from the SanXingdui ruins of Chengdu Jinsha ruinsinvestigate the origin of the gold deposits of the area of the ancient Shu culture, in addition to thetwo sites unearthed a special gold artifacts,such as gold masks, gold scepter comparative analysisof the Near East in western Asia similar things. On the basis of existing research results of thescholars of the ancient Shu and West Asia Near East relations, the author relates in-depth research,and put forward some new understanding and new perspectives.This article will examine the gold material source of the gold artifacts unearthed in theancient Shu culture area. With related ancient literature and analysis of gold artifacts unearthedgold component,it explore the gold origin in ancient Shu regional. For horizontal comparison, thegold mask and gold scepter, as the main gold artifacts unearthed in the ancient Shu, is similar withthe Near East in western Asia artifacts. It explores the nature of the function. For longitudinalcomparison, it explores possible causes subtle changes differences. Finally, in comparsion to thegold artifacts in the three generations of the period of ancient Shu cultural area and the central plains culture area, it explores their different characteristics. On a comparative analysis of thedifferences between the different cultural zone of gold artifacts, it resolves the reason for the causeof such differences.
