The object of this paper is gold and gem combination products which unearthedfrom Regional Prince of Ming Dynasty graves. According to the records put down inChinese literature, there are243graves recorded in historical document,and129gold and gem combination products were found in23graves which bury the RegionalPrince of Ming Dynasty. Based on the attribute of gold and gem combination products,I separated the cultural relic into ceremonial utensils and adornment. According to thetechnique, the cultural relic falls into three parts excluding inlay, golden painting, andcollocation. At the same time, I would like to study some phylogeny of scheme ofdecoration. Judging from the basic ingredient, I explored the main features of the gemwhich is the vital part of these gold and gem combination products. Analyzed thesource of these combination products and gems.The content of the paper is divided into five parts.Part one: PrefaceDefined the research object and spatial-temporal framework of the study.Summarized the previous research and deficiency of current study and found out theresearch method and purpose of this paper.Part two: Attribute classificationBased on the attribute of gold and gem combination products, I separated thecultural relic into ceremonial utensils and adornment. It is the solid foundation forsubsequent research.Part three: Technique classificationAccording to the technique, the cultural relic fallen into three parts excludinginlay, golden painting, and collocation. At the same time, I would like to study somephylogeny of scheme of decoration.Part four: Related issuesJudging from the basic ingredient, I explored the main features of the gem whichis the vital part of these gold and gem combination products. Analyzed the source ofthese combination products and gems.Part five: Conclusion Summarized the main research and perspectives of this paper.
