The Comprehensive Application Of Pattern Design And Organizational Structure

To develop the comprehensive application of the pattern designand organizational structure so as to unbound design and produce and applycomprehensive design is the inevitable course for pattern design levelenhancing and the designing and production diversification and individuationof textile works.The key of the comprehensive application of the pattern design andorganizational structure is the comprehensive design,whose original idea is toclosely combine the designing and production process in terms of form,craftsand materials to solve the coordinating problem between pattern group andtexture organizational structure group thus to produce new vocabulary fordesign and realize more perfect and closer creative design and developmentto the ideal level.For this goal, taking the flower and plants brocade from Qingdynasty as example,this paper researched the uniting mechanism of thedesigning and producing segments and the comprehensive application of thepattern and organizational structure and explored the paths for that on thecondition of modern information and textile technology referring the“design-production” mode with highly unification of art and technology,designand production under the technological condition of handcraft andhalf-mechanics.The comprehensive design is also applied to the practicebased on the imitation with the integrated and creative design work with CADsoftware and organizational data model.There are three possible innovations as follows:(i)clarifying andsummarizing the knowledge and experience of pattern structuring and craftcoordinating in traditional patterns with comprehensive comparativeresearch;(ii)to reprocess the design pattern in traditional brocade and apply itto modern life;(iii)to discuss the restoration of the unified mode of“design-production” mainly by craftsman in the pre-industrial era with moderninformation technology in point of design methodology,thus the significanceand possibility for that.
