Analysis And Research On The Gradient Form In The Textile Design Today

Gradient form is one of the most popular artistic in modern aesthetics, which hasbeen used in designed field for ages. This article is aiming to analyze the effects ofgradation form in textile art, especially in contemporary textile art and design, andsummarize the most significant method in recent textile art. Compare to the traditionalgradation form, modern gradient presents the development and evaluation of technology,and the trends of fashion aesthetics in contemporary society.It is a practical process to analysis and research gradient. Due to the complicateconcept of gradient. The analysis and research of gradation form in textile design todayis a process of experiments. Due to the fact that the range of aesthetics of gradient, it isvery complex to analysis and organize the practical method. This method has to beadjusted, until we get a comparable complete system. In researching part, based ondesign philosophy and result of production survey, the author combined the trends oftextile material in summarized three methods, which are the most significant ones incontemporary textile art—color, pattern and texture.In the final design practice, the author mixed some relative gradient design conceptwith multiple materials, in order to figure out any feasible design results. In the designprocess, she concluded this thesis with her deepened theoretical exploration andexperimental practice. And at last, she designed and finalized her final work, whichbased on the comprehensive materials and combined the trends of material and concept.
