Theory Of "Love" In Tsvetaeva’s Poems And Its Artistic Expression

Marina Tsvetaeva(1892-1941) is a major Russian poetess of the twentieth century. Her poems are mainly concerned about love, art, death and the motherland.Among them, the love poem occupy an important position.Coupled with her love experience and poem creation,This thesis aims to explore the aesthetic implication of "love" in her poetry,and discuss how to use a variety of imagery and means of artistic expression to expound the uniqueness of the interpretation of love.Except the introduction and postscript, the thesis consists of four chapters:Chapter one mainly elaborates marina’s love experience and creation,the author divides it into ignorant puberty, transformation period and spiritual maturity.In different period, Tsvetaeva’s love poems have different characteristics.Chapter two mainly discusses the connotation of "love" from three aspects. The first part analyzes the love mode in her poetry including warm and cruel love,noble and humble love and the love which is impossible in front of realization.The second part analyzes the image of hero and heroine that reflects the passion and desire to build "the third reality"of the poet. The third part discusses about the "love" in her poetry.The essence of love is the living place of her lofty ideal, which is also a mirror that she knows herself and the world.Chapter three analyzes the artistic expressions of "love" in her poetry through the rich and colorful image (such as natural imagery, body image, etc.) as well as the unique artistic technique. The conclusion discusses the innovation and contribution of Tsvetaeva’s love poem in the Russian love poem creation and put forward its important position in her whole poetry creation.
