Wang Tingxiang is not only a famous thinker, educator and statesman, but also atalented poet of Ming Dynasty. From ancient times, his philosophical and educationalthought all the time were studied by literati poets. However, his poetry attainmentswere little paid attention and studied. Based on the above problems, the present studyaims to demonstrate Wang’s, as one of "Seven of the Ming Dynasty Literature",achievements in poetry writing by elaborating the creative ideological content andartistic features of Wang and his poets, and lay the foundation for further study theLiterary creation of "Seven of the Ming Dynasty Literature". The present studydiscussed from the followed four aspects.ⅠReview of studies about Wang Tingxiang (Introduction). A whole overviewand brief analysis about studies from Ming dynasty to now about Wang Tingxiang.ⅡWang Tingxiang’s life, works and ideas (the first chapter). The description wasmade from three aspects, including the life, writings and thought. The life andwritings were described from the philosophy, literature, politics, education, ethics,partial emphasis. In philosophy, Wang Tingxiang is the main representative of the gasknowledge, to establish their own vigor ontology philosophy in vigor ontology on thebasis of the established atheism, negative supernatural ruler, criticize the mysteriouswarning theory, auspicious and calamity, put forward " gas phase with the capital"," born in gas ", advocate of " good and evil of the clutter " by discussing thetemperament theory. In The literature, he put forward these thinks of "writing shouldelaborate truth"," writing should be natural" and " poet should pursuit Imagery" and"literary should be cynical, and care about the world". In moral, Wang inherited themoral theory of science morality theory of Song and Ming dynasty, made saint asideal personality and moral cultivation goal, discussed the relations of "justice anddesire","Statue of virtue and knowledge" and "Dynamic and static". In politics, Wangbased on the people, emphasizing the repair for the discipline,advocated " play offone power against another " and "Not to stick to one pattern for talents ". In education,Wang promulgated the superintendent treaty of SiChuan, put forward the aim of national education. The treaty contained twenty-one points, including the aim o feducation, the content of education, the methods of study, code of conduct of teachersand students, conduct training and so on, to emphasize student should be learn inorder to practice.ⅢSummarize the think of Wang’s poets. The poems of Wang can be divided intofour types from content and theme. The firstly, the poems profoundly and extensivelyexposed the social abuses and darkness, reflected the sufferings of the people,condemned official avaricious and mean, and concerned about the fate of the country.The secondly, the poems of communication, presentable and farewell. The thirdly, thepoems about view and personal feelings. The fourth, the poems about travelling thewell-known mountains and rivers, and singing the praises of magnificent rivers andmountains of the motherland.ⅣThe Artistic achievement of Wang’s poets, including the followed threeaspects. Firstly, his poets are full of true feeling and get rid of Secretariat style.Secondly, his poets have a unique personal style, such as great momentum, elegantchic, elegant and serene. Thirdly, Wang created a large number of fresh and lively folkpoems by studying the folk poetry, which has main edificatory effect on latergenerations.
