Translation Of Academic Articles On Teaching Practice, Strategies And Reflection

Practice-based testing, reflection and enhancement of the comprehension of translation theories is an important way for translators’ professional competence improvement. Following a basic procedure of "review—ractice—reflection", the present paper is a translation report of the writer’s translation of three academic articles in language teaching.The paper makes first a theoretical and practical review of the status quo of academic translation, analyzes and defines some key concepts involved in the present study; then dissects the rendering process by interpretation of context meaning, analysis of text features, and illustrates the uniqueness of academic articles translation in its ways and strategies selection of text transformation. A final reflection is then made of not only the key problems, difficulties, strategy selection translation of academic articles in language teaching, but also a balanced development of academic translation.
