The book of Songs originated from the Liyue civilization fromthe Zhou Dynasty for which reason the content must be marked in the the Liyuecivilization. Since the1980’s, The book of Songs and rite testifying mutually graduallybecome a focus in academic research. The present paper is based on the former researchon the relationship between The Book of Songs and rite. Liyue civilization implied inRomantic poetry of Guo-Feng is selected as the research topic, which was rarely studied. The research technique is to select22representative poems based on the research onRomantic poetry in Guo-Feng to analyze the former illustration. It aims to eliminate thefalse and retain the true to reach the purpose of study poems correctly. Basic spirit inLiyue civilization was blended in the paper to deduce the consciousness implied in thechosen poems. The mainbody of the paper is divided into three parts. The first chapter is basedon the following8poems: Zhounan· Guanju, Chenfeng· Yuechu,Weifeng·Mugua,Beifeng·Jingnv,Zhengfeng·Zhenwei, Zhengfeng·Qianshang,Zhengfeng·Qiangzhongzi, Zhaonan·Yeyousijun and reached to the conclusion thatthe youth in Zhou Dynasty was relatively free in terms of love in life. But feudal codeof ethics also influenced their emotion, from which harmony of perusing love wasreflected. This also fit the harmonious beauty advocated by the Zhou rite. The second chapter talks about four poems, they are: Zhengfeng·Chuqidongmen,Wangfeng·Dache,Beifeng·Lvyi,Tangfeng·Gesheng. The common characteristic ofthese poems is the loyalty of husband and wife. The readers can be strongly affected andthe marriage concept of Zhou Dynasty is unconsciously advertised. The third chapter is based on the five poems: Zhounan· Taoyao,Zhengfeng·Nvyuejiming, Qifeng·Jiming,Zhengfeng·Tuoxi,Zhengfeng·Fengyu. The common character of these poems is reflected the harmony of family life, the deeplove and mutual respect. The governor of Zhou Dynasty regarded marriage as thebeginning of human nature, putting it in the position merely next to the universe. Deeplove and loyalty between husband and wife is the premise of a harmonious family, which is the basic of the harmony of society. This is the main reason why these poemswere selected into the collection of music and songs.Five poems are discussed in the forth chapter. Beifeng·Gufeng,Weifeng·Meng,Zhengfeng·Zundalu,Wangfeng·Zhongguyouzhi.Zhaonan·Xinglu is aboutmatrimonial suit and the other four deals with deserted wives. According to my research, the aim of putting them in to the collection of music and songs is to flay those who abandoned their wives, those who loved the new and loathed the old and those whoforceothers into marriage. From those counter-examples the feudal ethical code was revealed. In conclusion, the figures in Guo-feng reflected the love and marriage life in ZhouDynasty. Although the rite was rarely directly described and its function and meaningwas seldom talked about, the notion of rite naturally reflected through narration andlyric influenced people unconsciously. It is consistent with the aim of the rite in ZhouDynasty--keeping family stability and social harmony. The aim was achieved by theyouth being supposed to be polite to their lovers,; husband and wife being loyalty andharmonious, loving and respect each other.
