The Study Of Female Script Inheritor Life Course

Narrowly, the female script is a special characters only spread and used by the women in Jiang Yong County of Hunan province. The female script became the first batch of state protection of the intangible cultural heritage, has aroused great concern of the state, market, society and individuals. How to effectively inherit and protect the female script is an important study in present. As individual, the role of the female script inheritor played, is worthy of attention.In this study, using the life course theory and anthropological approach by means of participation in the observation and depth interviews, selected the80’s female script inheritor as the research object, investigated the process from contacting female script, learning female script, to become a female script inheritor in detail. Found the state, local government, experts and scholars, market, mass media have played a important role in the process of the female script inheritance and protection. Besides, the female script inheritor plays a positive self-initiative to participate in the cultural heritage and the development of the female script. Under the influence of interaction by different social force, the female script’s inheritance mechanism is still in the transition. In the future, needs the government focus on guiding and taking measures, to encourage individuals, company, and social organizations to participate in the cultural heritage protection process of the female script.
