First, this study mainly analyzes the relationship among emotion, healthy lifestyle and self-control by introducing the theory of self-control, and the measurement&characteristics of self-control. Then, the measurement and data analysis are carried out by questionnaire surveys as the following:(1) using the translated Tangney’s self-control scale1135students were tested for reliability and validity study scale,(2) investigating the development of college Students’self-control characteristics;(3) testing560college students in order to understand the relationship among the relationship among emotion, healthy lifestyle and self-control by using Tangney’s self-control scale, healthy lifestyle scale, and the Positive and Negative Affect Scale.The date analysis is mainly carried out in the following ways:(1) using project analysis, correlation analysis, exploratory and confirmatory facto to analyze the reliability and validity of self-control scale;(2) using t test and analysis of variance of each to study the variable differences on demographic variables;(3) correlation analysis between Students healthy lifestyle, emotional and self-control;(3) the mediating effect of emotion among self-control and healthy lifestyle.The study has access to the results as below:(1) the amended self-control scale has good reliability and validity;(2) Students’ self-control does not change from grade to grade;(3) Students’ self-control changes according to gender differences:girl controls better than boys for the same age;(4) self-control fluctuates for those who come from good economic conditions:especially lower in sophomore period compared with other periods;(5) the only children’s self-control continued to increase in the university while others keep relatively stable.(6) positive or negative emotions influences the healthy lifestyle and self-control.Finally, the study reach the conclusions:(1) the amended self-control Scale can be used to measure the college students;(2) the status of college students’ self-control is briefly understood;(3) the fact that the emotional valence has a partial mediating role in the relationship between healthy lifestyles and self-control is initially identified. |
