Employee Psychological Contract refers the mutual obligation pereeived by employees among the reciprocal relationship of employees and organization.It is one kind of non-economic contract between employees and organization. Clark Kerr’s research shows that the oldest organization of human society are not the business organizations but the universities and religious organizations. It allows the mysterious religious organizations have increasingly high research value. This study attempts to combine psychological contract theory with the typical religious organizations-the temple to analyze and discuss.This paper mainly using the case study method, having the famous representative of Buddhist organizations in China, Da Beigu Monastery and Da Bei Monasery, as the typical cases, focusing on the psychological contract of the members of temple, and on the basis of literature study, go deeply into the both temples to do internal observation and interviews, On the basis of widely collecting data an information,this paper analyzes with three-level coding analysis,respectively analyze the individual psychological contract dimension of monks and lay Buddhists.The purpose of this paper is to uncover the mysteries veil of the psychological contract management in Buddhist organization,offer new ideas for the construction of psychological contract in the enterprises and provide the reference for enterprise to use psychological contract for the most economic and effective management.The basic conclusion what has been getten through the research of this paper is that the the members of the psychological contract in the buddhist organization dimension are likely to include three dimensions, respectively for normative dimension and relation dimension and ideological dimension embodied in two aspects of "organization obligation" and "employee obligation". Nomative dimension mainly refers to the temple provide basic living conditions and the padipata environment for monks/lay buddhists and monks/lay buddhists complete the task consdientiously.Relationship dimension mainly refers to the temple provide the harmonious interpersonal environment and education training opportunities for monks/lay buddhists and monks/lay buddhists are responsible for creating good interpersonal atmosphere and being loyal to the temple. Ideological dimensionmainly refers that the temple is responsible for adhering to the concept,providing the environment and resources for monks/lay buddhists to realize their personal value and ideal,on the other hand,the monks/lay buddhists have the responsibility to support the concept of the temple and make contribute to realize the ideal of the temple.We can summarize that the the intensity of the psychological contract of monks is stronger than lay Buddhists’, relatively,these two kinds of individual psychological contract are stronger than that of general corporate staff.It is mainly due to the reason that the psychological contract of temple is built on the highly faith,the intensity of the psychological contract is different according to the belief degree,that is,the psychological contract of Buddhist organization play a role through the psychological contract between monks/lay buddhists and Buddha.
