Research On The Archaeological Remain Of The Bronze Age In Liaobei Area

Compared with the Liaoxi Area and Liaodong Area has established thearchaeology Culture Series of the prehistoric age and the Bronze Age, thearchaeological research of Bronze Age in Liaobei Area is relatively weak, regardless ofthe excavation of archaeological site work or study well.This dissertation will make asystematic analysis of archaeological remains of the Bronze Age in this region.This dissertation has four parts.The first part is about the geographical range and the brief history of thediscovery and the research.Defining the geographical scope, the area of Liaobei Area is located between twoculture area that was Liaoxi Area and Liaodong Area. This area connects the north ofwestern Liaoning region and the second Songhua river basin in the northern of it withrelatively complex cultural characteristics. According to the geographicalcharacteristics and cultural characteristics, the geographical scope of Liaobei Area canbe divided into the western hilly region and the eastern mountain area; And summarizethe archaeological survey, excavation and research of Bronze Age in Liaobei Areasince the1970s.The second part analyses the archaeological remains of the Bronze Age in the areaof Liaobei Area.According to the different culture, the Bronze Age remains of Liaobei Area wasdivided into four types:“Gaotaishan culture”,” Shunshantun type”,“Shuangfang type”and” Liangquan type”. Analyze the archaeological culture of each types, that dividedthem into different phases and dating the time of them.The third part is the related studies.This part has two argument, the first one is the division of Liaobei Area, thisregion can be divided into two parts bounded by Liaohe; the second one is the stages of archaeological remains of the Bronze Age in Liaobei Area, the development ofBronze Age in this area can be divided into three phases, the first stage is Shangdynasty and Shang and Zhou dynasty,“Gaotaishan culture” and “Shunshantun type”ware belong to this phases o.The second stage was from the late western Zhou dynastyto the late warring states period,“Shuangfang type” in the east was belong to this stage.The third stage was from the warring states period to the early western Han dynasty,the later period of the “Shuangfang type” and the” Liangquan type”was belongs to thisstage.The last part is the epilogue.Finally, the dissertation was induces to three aspect. First, the archaeologicalculture of Liaobei Area can be divided into two area that were eastern andwestern;Second,the western area was Affected by the “Gaotaishan culture”;Third,inthe eastern area,the “Shuangfang type” was instead of” Liangquan type”.
