This paper analyses the function of body language in shaping the images through four aspects. Drama is an art of action. The line is a performance, in addition not only the use of language, but also the body language to act is important to performance. Proper use of body language helps actors to better shape the characters and mine the inner spirit of characters, making the characters more vivid and true. At the same time, it can also reveal the relationship between provisions situation and characters, help the actors to better reflect the character’s inner thoughts and find out the logic basis of role’s action.Actors should use their own gestures, postures, gait, eye contact, rhythm and the frequency of the action to create vivid characters. In another words, the actor should adjust their own body languages in accordance with the understanding and the requirements of the role, which not only meets the logic design of the character, but also let audiences feel painstakingly performance through repeatedly practice. The creating of roles is a slight movement and even the eyes cannot reach the level of consciousness during the performance. Only do like this, the characters will have unique charm.
