Literary Enlightenment And Atistic Critique

Luxun is the founder for Chinese modern literature and Chinese modern novels. The research on Nahan and Panghuang incarnate the enlightenment critique and artistic supreme pursuit of the New literature from WuSi. During the100years, the research on Luxun have became the most sufficent field in the Chinese modern literature researches. Meanwhile, Nahan and Panghuang are two novels which were researched earliest,and made the most achievements,and accumulated deeply. Though, there are a lot of famous scholars have made a great of achievement in this field. The value and significance of the research on Nahan and Panghuang haven’t been investigated carefully and deeply. For the reason, I think it is necessary to put it as an entirery integration to research. The discussion should be conducted on three layers that are material analysis, the relation between literary enlightenment and artistic critique, and the development of academic model. So this thesis divides the research history of Nahan and Panghuang into three stages that are the ardent times, worship times and rereading times. The research history of Nahan and Panghuang for100years prove that the value of thinking enlightenment and artistic of Nahan and Panghuang is perpetual. The process of the research on Nahan and Panghuang is not only the process which the intellectuals inherit the forefathers’ enlightement enterprise,but reflect the development of the idea and literary creation of Chinese modern literature research, and the Chinese modern literature discipline during the20century.
