Since the21st century, a growing economy, people’s livingstandards also showed an increasing trend. Worldwide there are3.6billion men, just China alone more than700million men, and alarge part of men have started getting concerned about their ownimage problems in this700million men. As the male cosmetics latestart, the development of faster, but most of the male cosmeticspackaging design is simple imitation women cosmetics packagingdesign, men who self-designed cosmetics packaging at the time ofits design, almost no consideration for men aesthetic needs andconsumer psychology. Therefore, there is still a male cosmeticspackaging design and more inadequate.This article aims to compare by foreign men skincare packagingdesign examples and identify shortcomings of existing male skincare products in the packaging design on this basis, the aestheticfrom the male point of view, consumer psychology and consumerhabits and other aspects of meticulous research, combined withelements of packaging design features, to seek suitable for ourmen ’s skin care products packaging design specific methods andphilosophy, to improve the overall level of China’s men ’s skincarepackaging design.
