The Research On Qi Chong’s Book About The Original Meaning Of Du Fu’s Poetry

Qi Chong was one of the most important scholars in the Qing Dynasty. He was bora in Wu Yuan.His book about the original meaning of du fu’s poetry was an important achievements of du fu’s poetry study in the Qing Dynasty literary history. It was on the basis of excellent achievements of previous scholars.But so far, its research is still relatively weak in the academic field.The article is divided into some sections.The preface introduce the overall situation about research on du fu’s poetry, then it discusses the situation about studying du fu’s poetry in Huizhou and the social background and academic trend in the Qing Dynasty in order to find the book of social and culture conditions.The first chapter mainly investigates his basic situation, including the life and writing. By investigating the above factors, we are able to achieve the goal of understanding the author.The second chapter was based on the text,mainly studying explantion of the book. I study the purpose of writing the book and version of the book. In the following section, I study the explanation of the book about people and places, allusions, historical facts, etc.The third chapter I made a simple summary about some researchers and poets who caught Qi Chong’s attention.In the following, I seek for the methods of explanation that was used in the book.,and I know his poetic thought according to the comments of explanation. At last, I try to explain Qi Chong’s poetry concept.His poetic throught mainly reflected in the view of gentle and kind, real emotion, persuasion。Finally,the last chapter summarizes the advantages and disadvantages, according to compared with other books. Mainly studying the specific method of literary creation. The book not only provide us with research material, gives us a new study mode that is worth learning for future generations, but also it has a certain value of studying du fu’s peotry.
