The Research On Zha Hongdao’s Book About Selective Annotations Of Du Fu’s Poetry Of Eight Lines

Zha Hongdao was one of the most important scholars in the early Qing Dynasty. He was born in Hui Zhou Xiu Ning (now An Hui Xiu Ning). His book about selective annotations of du fu’s poetry of eight lines was one of the important achievements of du fu’s poetry study in the Qing Dynasty literary history. It was on the basis of excellent achievements of previous scholars. But so far, its research is still relatively weak in the academic field.This article is divided into some sections.The preface introduces the overall situation about research on du fu’s poetry, then it discusses the social background and academic trend in the early Qing Dynasty in order to find the book of social and cultural conditions, finally introduces research situation about the book.The first chapter mainly investigates his basic situation, including the life, family, track, and friends. I study the purpose of writing the book and version of the book. By investigating the above factors, we are able to achieve the goal of understanding the author and the book.The second chapter was based on the text, mainly studying explanation of the book. The paragraph begins to introduce the book of Zhao Zichang and the book of Yu Ji. In the following section, I study the kind of style that separating the different poems and the explanation of the book about people and places, allusions, historical facts, etc. Then, I made a simple summary about some researchers and poets who caught Zha Hongdao’s attention. In the following, I seek for the methods of explanation that was used in the book.The third chapter mainly studies the poetic achievement of Zha Hongdao. I narrative the poetic background in the early Qing Dynasty. Then, I know his poetic thought according to the comments of explanation. His poetic thought mainly reflected in the view of gentle and kind, real emotion, persuasion. Finally, the fourth chapter summarizes the advantages and disadvantages, according to the explanations. Although there are some questions in the book, they are valuable if you take the literature and the contents into consideration. The book not only provides us with research material, gives us a new study mode that is worth learning for future generations, but also it has a certain value of studying du fu’s poetry in Huizhou.Through the check of the writer and his book, we can find the characters and methods about the explanations. What’s more, his poetic principles, aesthetic viewpoint and the method of exploration of poetry were able to known for us. Finally we can realize suitable position of the book in the poetic transition and development.
