After the New Culture Movement, the feudal culture has been an unprecedentedfierce criticism. Advanced intellectuals found the unique nature of the children. Theyestablished Children standard values. In addition, China was facing national salvation,so children’s literature should meet the needs of the times the input revolution. Thecollapse of the social economic decline, widespread poverty, several years of wars,made many families shattered. Children have become orphans, wandering in thecommunity. These homeless children are not an isolated phenomenon. They havebecome a kind of group, a unique landscape. Many writers described these "homelesschildren" which not only fit the prevailing spirit of literary realism, but also emotionalcare of these poor children.In this paper, the structure is divided into the following four parts.The first part, I define the concept of modern "homeless children" literature inChina."Homeless children" literatures belonged to the generalized "tramp" novels,but slightly different."Tramp" novel is both physical and mental wandering, but thefocus on the spirit of wandering in pursuit more. The "homeless children" was the lifeforce. They focused on the "body" wandering.The second part of the Chinese modern "homeless children" literature is inchronological order."Homeless children" has four stages and each stage ofrepresentative literary works and their authors conducted detailed analyzes andsummarizes the characteristics of each stage, breakthroughs and shortcomings.The third part of the Chinese modern "homeless children" analyzed the fictionnovel. Fiction narrative mode is basically a single linear narrative structure. The fateof homeless children are the twists, then summed up the character of each novelrelational model is the relationship between the guidelines and be directed by thosewho found their inherent common patterns to identify commonalities and featuresrepresentative works. The fourth part, the author summarizes the significance of homeless children’sliterature, One is from the homeless children we can see social reality; second point isthe homeless children as the main way to explore the future of China."Homeless children" literature gradually withdrew from people’s vision. Itappeared only a few decades, but for the time development of children’s literature ofrealism, it has a negligible significance.
