Advertisements of the Republic of China, the same as other historical periods, were mostly various types of commercial advertising, so academic research on them is fruitful. However, it should not be ignored that the literature advertising was especially prosperous even though it has not been regarded as important and studied fully. Given the wide ranges of literary genres, this paper chooses fiction as paradigm to analyze advertising texts of Modern Chinese literature.This Paper is divided into four chapters. For the Introduction section, it discusses the academic background and its value and practical significance, reviewing the research achievement of literature advertising and stating the research design of the paper. The first chapter mainly analyzes the language of Modern Chinese Fiction advertising from the perspectives of both rhetorical and linguistic styles. The second chapter discusses the scopes of content of the Modern Chinese Fiction advertising, which changes from the fiction itself and its characteristics to the relevant information. Also, the sub-text reflected commercial awareness of advertising designers. The third chapter focuses on the analysis of the forms of Modern Chinese Fiction advertising. Respectively, from the title elaborate design, layout mode, text paragraphs, layout and copywriting border, decoration design, etc. Starting from the fourth chapter focuses psychological analysis of Modern Chinese Fiction advertising, listing the three most commonly used creative psychology.Advertising of Modern Chinese Fiction and even Modern Chinese Literature remains as treasure to be explored and they should be given due attention from relevant disciplines. At the same time, by analyzing fiction advertising texts of the Republic of China and even literary advertising, it can bring inspiration for publishers and editors of our times to write excellent book advertisements.
