| Chinese picture-story book has been a kind of art masterpieces with its characteristics, which is very popular among people. However, it has experienced its development, maturity, thriving and decline in less than a century. Now Chinese picture-story books are considered for collections.With the wide application of digital technology, the new media such as internet has affected the readers’ideas on reading. The Chinese picture-story books used to be published in paper, which is constricted by publishing and publication. Some of the books are very simple in its making, while the artwork is of great value. Under the context of Digital Hunan, we are exploring the expression of Chinese picture-story books through the means of digitalization, in order to be adapted to the environment and people’s appreciation. It avoids the influence of the publication and help better spread the Chinese culture.This paper analyzes the process of the development of Chinese picture-story book and tries to expose its causes of decline. It continues to analyze the causes of decline by the form of art and propaganda means. Later, this paper discusses the influence of digital age on picture-story books and talks about its inheritance in this age. Also, this paper states the surviving form and means of development of the picture-story books. It also explores the ways of protecting its development and inheritance of this present digital age. In the end, this paper tries to make the contributions to the preserving of this great artwork of China. |
