The Research On Value Feature Classification And Protection Of The Historical Cultural Town And Village In Hebei Province

Hebei province has a long history and vast territory. Famous villages and towns haveirreplaceable value. The protection work of the value feature classification of villages andtowns, Hebei Province should learn from successful experience at home and abroad andexplore thinking ways and measures in line with the local features of Hebei Province based onthe practical situation of various regions. Based on the detailedinterpretation and analysis of the history of all famous villages and towns in Hebei province,they can be divided into11sub-cultural circles: Frontier juncture cultural circle, Auxiliarycapital cultural circle, Zhili cultural circle, Woniu cultural circle, cultural circle of Zhao’s capital, Jingxi (western mountain area of Beijing) cultural circle, alternative capital culturalcircle, Jin People cultural circle, Jindong cultural circle, Xianyu cultural circle and StoneVillage cultural circle. Based on the summary and study of the value features of thearchitectural layout of all famous villages and towns in Hebei province, they are divided intofive basic types: ancient capital, palace, province and prefecture, post house and family. Thenthe paper further discusses the similarities of the value feature of the architectural layouts ofthe six basic types, and divides them into10specific layout value feature types:Axisymmetric, Featured modeling, Chinese garden, mausoleum, Military area just outside acity gate, Plain square lattice, Octothorpe shape, Dustpan shape, Stone village and compacttype.The classification of historic cultural value feature and architectural layout value featureof famous villages and towns in Hebei province makes it possible to evaluate the valuefeatures of famous villages and towns. These evaluations can reflect the value features offamous villages and towns, protection status and problems in the development in an objectiveand real manner. Also, the paper formulates targeted protection measures and providesevidence to make the protection planning more operational. Since famous villages and townswith different value features have different guard methods and focuses, there are manycontradictions between the reality and history in the process of protecting and developingfamous villages and towns, which requires complete and reasonable value feature evaluation.While paying attention to the protective evaluations of historic cultural value featuresand architectural layout value features, it is necessary to refer to the coordination betweenhistoric cultural famous villages and towns and modern planning construction, so as to enableprotection assessment to have developable value features and put the protection of famousvillages and towns into practice.
