Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)is a kind of highly disabling anxiety characterized by continuous and regular obsessive thoughts, images or impulsive, accompanied by a mandatory ritualized behavior (APA,2000).Others also believe that the characteristics of OCD is conscious of conflict between compulsion and anti-compulsion,(Xu Youxin,1993; Zhang Zhongming,2005), highly suspected, uncertainty and repeatability. The researchers found that OCD patients have an inflated sense of responsibility. The exaggerated and high sense of responsibility will affect the compulsive behavior. The researchers(Arntz. A,2007)think that the sense of responsibility is the cause of formation and keeping of the OCD. The recurrent and persistent thoughts, impulses intrusive and repetitive ritualized behaviours and the difficult of inhibition of irrelevant information let the researchers focus on the relationship between OCD and response inhibition. One study found that patients with OCD in semantic negative start task showed inhibitory ability to drop, suppress error rate of increase in reverse DE task, object rotation test error rates increase. Most studies have shown that OCD patients in inhibitory control test show that the defects, and the severity of the OCD symptoms is positive correlation to Response inhibition error.OCD patients with Inhibiting disorder, and can effectively restrain the behavior is a key factor of compulsive behavior.Based on the high sense of responsibility will affect the compulsive behavior and response inhibition defects is the key factor of the production of compulsive behavior.we imagine experimentally manipulated responsibility, using the Go/Nogo paradigm to study the effect of responsibility to response inhibition in OCD patients and High obsessive-compulsive individual. To induce heightened feelings of responsibility in two ways, one is through cash bonus, by telling the subjects that they are participate in a competition and the champion will get cash bonus that more than three times cash compare to other subjects to induced high sense of responsibility;Through told participants that they are participate in a simple pre-test task and dosen’t record test results to induced low sense of responsibility.Another way is induced by the form of social responsibility, through told the participants that they are the representative of their academy in the comparison of student’s response inhibition of each school in the whole university and the reaction of the individual will affect their overall level of their academy to induce subjects high sense of responsibility; through told the participants which they will attend is a preliminary experiment and test results don’t participate in the official statistics analysis to induced low sense of responsibility. This research includes three parts:Study one was to compare the difference between patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder and normal person on response inhibition. The experiment group have18OCD patients and the control group have18normal people. The task was Go/Nogo task. The results showed that the group main effects of the two groups of participants in the correct reaction time and right response rate and omission rate are not significantOn the right reaction time and right response rate and error rate on the Go/Nogo ratio have significant main effectThe main effects and interaction on the error rate both significantSimple effect analysis found that patients group and the control group both significant under different task proportion, On proportion3:1,4:1and9:1,there were significant difference between two groups. The study found that the response inhibition defects do exist in the patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder, capable of suppressing their reactions are affected by suppressing the influence of task difficulty, the inhibit task is more difficult, the more difficult to the reaction stop and the behavior control is more difficult.Study two explored whether high and low sense of responsibility effect the response inhibition of normal individual.40college students were randomly divided into high and low responsibility groups to complete three proportions of the Go/Nogo task. Results showed that high and low responsibility groups of participants in the right response, accuracy, omission rate, error rate of interaction, group on the main effects are not significant, only in the right reaction time and error rate on the Go/Nogo ratio have significant main effectCan be concluded from this, normal subjects in the high and low liability scenario response inhibition difference was not significant, the subjects of response inhibition ability under the influence of task difficulty.Study three is to investigate high and low sense of responsibility of response inhibition effect of obsessive individuals, PI scale screening,80subjects were divided into four groups of five kinds of proportion of the Go/Nogo task. Results showed that the four groups of participants on the correct response, accuracy and error rates five Go/Nogo primary effect significantly, at the right reaction time, low accuracy, high omission rate on, sense of responsibility and the different proportion of five kinds of the Go/Nogo significant interaction effect, on the error rate is high, the low sense of responsibility are the main effect is remarkable. And from the point of average, four groups of participants in correct reaction time and error rate of the mean as the Go/Nogo ratio increases, presents an inverted "U" and "U" type trend, namely the RT (1:1)> RT (7:3)> RT (3:1)<RT (4:1)<RT (9:1), ER (1:1)<ER (7:3)<ER (3:1)> ER (4:1)> ER (9:1).It can be concluded that the high and low sense of responsibility will produce certain influence to the reaction of the participants suppression, at the same time, the subjects of response inhibition as the inhibition of task difficulty, compulsive tendencies of response inhibition of the participants had no obvious effect, this once again proved that the research conclusion, high force tend to be individual as vulnerable groups of patients diagnosed with obsessive-compulsive disorder, their response inhibition may be related to normal individuals, and without defects. The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The reaction difficult of OCD patients was increased with the difficult of inhibition task.(2)The influence of high sense of responsibility to the normal individual and compulsive tendencies individual on response inhibition showed similar rules.High sense of responsibility has no impact on the response inhibition. The high sense of responsibility has no effect on response inhibition of normal individual, but it has great effect on response inhibition of high obseesive-compulsive symptom individual.(3) The difficulty of Go/Nogo task has impact on the response inhibition of normal individuals, compulsive tendencies individuals and OCD patients.
