Obsessive-compulsive disorder is a group of common mental disorders with the main clinical manifestations of forced thinking and obsessive-compulsive behavior.The main features of obsessive-compulsive symptoms are recurrent thoughts or behaviors,knowing that they are excessive or unreasonable but difficult to control,patients experience subjective pain and need to repeat Confirmation to alleviate pain,and severe people will affect their social function.The etiology of obsessive-compulsive disorder is complex,including heredity,neuroendocrine,personality characteristics,childhood experience,etc.,which has obvious characteristics of social-psychological-biological model.In the treatment,it should also be carried out from two aspects: drug treatment and psychotherapy.However,due to lack of understanding or stigma of obsessive-compulsive disorder,patients often refuse to receive medical treatment,therefore,in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder,psychotherapy is particularly important.Psychotherapy for obsessive-compulsive disorder is mainly based on cognitive behavioral therapy,including exposure and response prevention therapy,cognitive therapy,and behavioral therapy.However,the current psychological methods for the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder have many shortcomings,such as the high rate of treatment abscission,more residual symptoms,and not long-lasting treatment effects.But at present,some emerging psychotherapy methods can make up for the defect of traditional psychotherapy in these aspects and giving patients better experience and greater benefits.Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy(MBCT),as one of the representatives of the third generation of cognitive behavioral therapy,plays an active role in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder.This article reviews the current status and efficacy of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder,aiming to provide a reference for the clinical psychotherapy of obsessive-compulsive disorder.
