The Research Of Virtuous Ministers In Essays Of Rong Zhai

At present, books or papers about the research of virtuousministers in Essays of Rong Zhai are absent. While knowing thatknowledge is limited, I still want to do a more comprehensiveanalysis for virtuous ministers and hope the research will expandthe research field of characters in Essays of Rong Zhai.The paper is divided into six parts: the introduction is aimed atcombing the research history and current status of ministers inEssays of Rong Zhai and at the same time pointing out the value ofvirtuous ministers.The first part cleared the connotation of virtuous minister onthe basis of browsing the ancient books and combining the theoryof modern scholars, discussed the important role of virtuousministers in politics and did a comprehensive search for virtuousministers in Essays of Rong Zhai and list overview.The second part sorted virtuous ministers into four categoriesaccording to the connotation of virtuous: loyalty,the people-based,make recommendations, and integrity.The part did the thoroughanalysis for four categories.The third part is about the cultural connotation, discussed theroot of paying attention to morality of virtuous ministers. The part isdivided into three levels. Firstly, the society of the southern Song dynasty looks forward to virtuous ministers. Secondly,neo-confucianism of the southern Song dynasty and loyalty in familypushes Hong Mai shaping virtuous ministers image. Thirdly, thevirtuous ministers image, in fact, is embodiment of the way HongMai to be a minister.The fourth part is intended to discussing the artistic features ofdepicting virtuous ministers image: highlight the nature of virtuousministers with typical examples, highlight the character and talentof virtuous ministers by contrast, express the author’s uniqueinsights with narrative and discussion, and limitations.The conclusion summarized the research content, and pointedout the deficiency existing in this paper.
