The Study On Productive Protection Problem Of Xuan Paper

As one of China’s four treasures of study and the typical case of Chinese traditional handmade Paper, Xuan Paper has a long history that goes back to thousands of years ago. Xuan Paper, being pure white, soft, smooth and incorruptible, wins the worldwide reputation of "King of Paper","Long-life Paper".Xuan Paper produced in the Tang Dynasty, has continued ever since, and now mainly produced in Jing County, Xuancheng City, Anhui Province.Since more than a thousand years of history since the birth, the production process is of Xuan Paper followed the healing process passed down from our ancestors.Most of these processes operate manually and don’t have too many changes occurring on the details.Under the background of the rapid development of new industries, and the increasingly depress of traditional industries, Xuan Paper’s glorious days ended and the whole industry started to fade in recent years. To revive the Xuan Paper industry, the Chinese government and enterprises to start the productive production of Xuan Paper.In the first part,carding the relevant research results regarding the production of Xuan Paper industry and the protection of intangible cultural heritage.This article reviews the literature on Xuan Paper industry from four areas:history, development status history, heritage protection and development of the industry,and simple finishing the difficulty of productive research protection of intangible cultural heritage from the definition of measures and practices encountered.Meanwhile, the author briefly describes the study method used in the article and principal investigator of the place Jing County, Xuancheng City, Anhui Province.In the second part, the article chronicles the historical development of the Xuan Paper and Xuan Paper production process in detail.A brief review of Xuan Paper’s history from the Eastern Han Cai Lun invented "Cai Hou Paper" as a starting point, the Paper made by Xuancheng is specified as a royal tribute in Tang Dynasty, the Cao family moved to Xiaoling in the late Song early Ming, Xuan Paper industry was very prosperous in Ming and Qing Dynasties, and government support for the development of the Xuan Paper industry since the founding of conduct.Then show the ancient Xuan Paper manufacturing skills from two parts preparation and Papermaking.The third part, the author elaborate the current development of China’s intangible cultural heritage protection of productive and the productive protection on Xuan Paper industry,pointed out that the current problems while put forward feasible suggestions based on the views of practitioners and experts.
