Although folk paper-cut has been more or less into the market, but has not established a systematic and scientific protection system .It is blind, and lack of competitiveness.This paper, to YueQing thin vein paper-carving as a practical example, analyse the crisis and opportunity the folk paper-cut are facing in the market economy, and come up with the view that use the theory of the productive protection to guide the protection and inheritance of the folk paper-cutting.
