Turkmen Preparatory Students’Anxiety In Chinese Learning

The paper is based on the investigation of32Turkmenistan preparatory students at international cultural exchange school of Central China Normal University. By questionnaire survey, classroom teaching view and personal interview, the paper investigates their learning anxiety. Then combined with the analysis of the survey, this paper researches how to adjust Chinese learning anxiety of Turkmenistan preparatory students.The research significance and the theory of foreign language learning anxiety of research results are first introduced in part1, then it summarizes the characteristics of research results.The second part analyzes the existing anxious status of Turkmenistan preparatory students. This part firstly illustrates the research methods and research tools, and it proves the reliability of the questionnaire through the SPSS statistical analysis software. Then it analyzes the results of the SPSS statistics. Through the distribution of the total cost of the anxious state of Turkmenistan preparatory students, it shows that their Chinese learning anxiety are widespread. The spoken language anxiety level is moderate, listening and reading anxiety level is on the high side. By the distribution features of the anxiety value, this paper proves that listening anxiety are mainly related to the familiarity of the listening material, learning environment, test and Chinese grammar; reading anxiety correlates with the new words, grammar and cultural background knowledge. Through the test of independent sample T, the paper finds that there is no significant difference of Chinese language anxiety level on the Turkmenistan students of different gender and of different Chinese level. However, there existed a significant difference between students from different class environment.The causes of anxiety is discussed in the third part. The research is based on the overall statistical results of anxiety cause scale, results of personal interview, the comparative analysis of anxiety cause scale between different class and distribution characteristic of Turkmenistan preparatory students anxiety values. The results show that the characteristics of Chinese, learning environment and translation of textbook are the main reasons that cause their anxiety.The fourth part concludes how Chinese as a foreign language teachers to adjust Chinese learning anxiety of Turkmenistan preparatory students from four aspects as follows. They are teaching way of dealing with anxiety, creating a good learning environment, reasonable choose and use of textbooks and cultivating students’ good study habits. The fifth part lists innovation and deficiency of this paper from the object of study, research stage, survey condition and the the research content, and it provides an outlook of what we have haven’t researched in this paper.
