Chinese characters are Chinese writing instruments,and they play an important role in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The study of Chinese character learning strategies for Chinese as a foreign language started late,and the study of Chinese characters in the accelerated and intensive mode of pre-university students is even more scarce.Chinese character learning is both a focus and a difficult point for Chinese students studying in China.Therefore,it is of great practical value to investigate the use of Chinese learning strategies for pre-university students.Chinese characters are Chinese writing instruments,and they play an important role in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The study of Chinese character learning strategies for Chinese as a foreign language started late,and the study of Chinese characters in the accelerated and intensive mode of pre-university students is even more scarce.Chinese character learning is both a focus and a difficult point for Chinese students studying in China.Therefore,it is of great practical value to investigate the use of Chinese learning strategies for pre-university students.This paper takes the six classes of pre-university students who come to China from the2018 level of the Chinese College of Beijing International Studies University as the object of investigation.Through interviews,classroom observations,and questionnaires to understand the use of Chinese character learning strategies,analyze the relationship between Chinese learning strategies and learning effects,individual differences and other influencing factors,and find out the problems,and combined with the survey results,Some inspirations for Chinese character teaching strategies.This article mainly includes the following parts:The first part is the introduction of the first chapter.It introduces the background of the topic,the significance of the research,the current research status,research content and research ideas of relevant research at home and abroad.The second part is the main part of the thesis,which is the second chapter,the third chapter and the fourth chapter.The second chapter introduces the research object,the source of the research data and the basis of the survey design,and verifies the reliability of the survey through the reliability test of the questionnaire.The third chapter analyzes the use of Chinese characters in pre-university students,the relationship between Chinese learning strategies and learning effects,and related influencing factors.The commonly used Chinese character strategies for pre-university students are memory strategy,compensation strategy,cognitive strategy,and least commonly used emotional strategy.The lesser strategies used in sub-strategy are inductive strategy and planning strategy;from the relationship between Chinese character strategy and achievement,recognition Knowing strategies and achievements show a very significant correlation.From the perspective of different mother tongues,pre-university students from Asia have higher overall strategies than African and European students.From a gender perspective,boys use meta-cognitive strategies and other strategies are higher than girls.From the perspective of learning motivation,pre-university students are mostly instrumental and they are better at using memory strategies and cognitive strategies.From the perspective of attitude towards Chinese characters,it is considered that the pre-university students who study Chinese characters are more likely to use cognitive strategies and metacognitive strategies.The fourth chapter mainly summarizes the problems existing in the use of Chinese character learning strategies by pre-university students according to the content of the third chapter and puts forward some teaching suggestions for the Chinese learning strategies of the preparatory students.The third part is the conclusion of the last chapter,summarizing and summarizing the full text.
