The Strangers In Zhang Henshui’s Novels

Writers came from southern China will always have a unique sense to Beijing,which can be viewed as a meaningful cultural phenomenon.Zhang Henshui was good at reflecting the ordinary life and motion about BeiJing.However, words like "South"、"back to south"appeared with a high frequency of occurrence in those novels which have "Beijing" or "Peking as their creative background. We can find an exceptionally rich world of the strangers in the largest and most prestigious urban scence in the biggest city of northern China without surprise. Countless dream catchers selected here then derives a rich images of the strangers. When they have to face the change of lifestyle,the impact of the conversion value principles and urban civilization,these strangers are often sink into dilemma,facing multiple challenges and dilemmas.Zhang Henshui wisely chosed this unique angle and nose vividly demonstrated in his works.This paper try to sort out his writing for strangers from the level combined the writer’s personal life experience. The article consist of three parts:introcuction body text and conclusion. In the preface,try to explain the significance from Zhang’s novels why choose the articles which selected Beijing as the main geographical background to analyze his works written for the strangers,summed the rich pedigree portrait about strangers in his work and pointed out the achievements and shortcomings of previous studies for this area to determine the significance of the topic.There are three cections of the body part. The first chapter pointed the image generated of strangers from the social context,demonstrate "stranger" existing social background and the existence of rationality.In particular pointed these strangers survival phenomena.Joys and sorrows in the "hall",where is an unique landmark, reveals his unique significance for the strangers, then express these strangers’struggling tragedy by analyzing their face the double trouble about survival and spiritual.The second chapter is to dig out the cultural connotations hidden under the the rules of survival stranger urban:the collision between different cultures,the hovering between traditional culture ad modern civilization.and the mental state of rootless about the strangers can not come back home to do multi-dimensional perspective.The third chapter try to analysis the "strangers" of Zhang’s novels by the theory of urban-rural dual system,revealed interpretation about urban-rural dual system and the building on literature firstly,and the literary motif of Redneck town also be reflected in Zhang’s works,try to reveal the similarities and differences with his contemporaries and even new age writers,and through dialasis works embodied the "bottom view"and"civilian care" express the writer’s humane care and deep sense of social responsibility,to provide a new perspective for study of Zhang’s novels and Beijing city literature.In the epilogue,we recalling the lack of writing, the reference value for the moment about this paper.
