Study On The Discription Of Love And Affection In Lin Shuhua’s Works

In century long history of Modern Chinese,authoresses rally and arise in the May4th Movement for the very first time. On the basis of affectionate composition, most of them follow the pace of modernization, fight against feudal ethics, feudal ethics with men, and exclaim freedom、equality and personal liberation.However, Lin Shuhua is a special one. Though the number of her work is bot much, but both the spirit of traditional lady and the feminist ideology of modern women can be found in her creation. Thus, the affectionate compositions of Lin are presented in a different style.This paper attempts to conduct the research on the affectionate compositions of Lin Shuhua, mainly by using the detailed reading. The following chapters discuss the idea of Lin Shuhua mainly from love marriage, extramarital and the aesthetic characteristics love writing.Specifically, the first chapter aim to explore the romantic nightmare of those traditional ladies in the notable family,while encountered with the modern romance.The second chapter is about city of marriage. This chapter contains two parts:the first part is discussion about the out-time ladies suffered from non-love marriage because of corrosion of feudal habit, which also involves with the national issues; the second part is discussion of new ladies with specific features, the way they use to seek for marriage with love, and the different situation confronted by new lady and out-time lady in the pursuit of love and marriage.The third chapter is about the life out of marriage. This chapter mainly discuss about the contradiction between career and marriage of the women in the marginalization of marriage.The fourth chapter focus on the discussion of the aesthetic characteristics of love compositions of Lin Shuhua, one for gentle irony, the other for the subtle and refined classical beauty. This chapter demonstrates the uniqueness of her love compositions once again.Above all, through the exploration of Lin’ compositions, this paper demonstrates the unique image of Lin Shuhua, the women stick to her own little world in the May4th movement,quite different from many other authoresses.
