The Research Of Hebei FuNing TaiPing Drum

FuNing TaiPing Drum is one of the traditional folk dances in HeBei province, because of its ancient history, rich content and unique artistic form, it was listed in "provincial intangible cultural heritage" in2006. FuNing TaiPing Drum mainly spread in the city and the vast region of FuNing country. Its artistic form is the result of the production and living of the local people, it has full-bodied local flavor. Today’s FuNing TaiPing Drum has been known and loved by more and more people, the dance event has acted in many sizes, and achieved excellent results. But nowdays there is no systematic research on FuNing Taiping Drum. The most studies on it is just the fragmentary description. The deep research based on the practical investigation theoretical analysis has not been done yet.I choose FuNing County as our investigation placen. I do the comprehensive research in several aspects, such as historical origin; characteristic of formation; costumes for performance; actions of performance; ranks of performance; impartment and development;and so on.. What’s more, I deeply explored the teaching value in FuNing TaiPing Drum. The research is one of the great importance to both its development and conservation of nonmaterial cultural eritage in FuNing county.
