| “差点没VPâ€â€œå¥½ä¸X" and’‘ä¸è¦å¤ªXâ€are three special constructions of the redundant negation, they all have homomorphism and can lead to ambiguity. The linguists have conducted specialized research on those constructions while they are considered as redundant negation, but linguists didn’t pay enough attention to their ambiguity. Based on previous studies, this paper analyzes reasons for the ambiguity formatted by’‘差点没VPâ€â€œå¥½ä¸Xâ€and“ä¸è¦å¤ªXâ€,investigates their use tendency in people’s language sense and corpus, then explores the degrees of their ambiguity and preferred semantics, finally explain the reasons in detail.This paper’s content is divided into the following five parts:The first chapter is an introduction, I introduces why selecting the title and the significance of studying the topic, the research status of redundant ambiguity> ambiguity and degree of ambiguityã€ambiguity made by"差点没VPâ€â€œå¥½ä¸Xâ€and“ä¸è¦å¤ªXâ€,andthis paper’s contentã€methodsã€the sources of corpus.The second chapter describes the ambiguity phenomenon created by“差点没VPâ€â€œå¥½ä¸Xâ€and“ä¸è¦å¤ªXâ€,they also can be understood as the positive and negative. This analysis shows the reason why select these three constructions as object of study from all redundant negation.The third chapter explains reasons for the formation of ambiguity created by“差点没VPâ€â€œå¥½ä¸Xâ€â€œä¸è¦å¤ªXâ€,from both form and meaning:in formal aspects, they have homomorphism and can be understood as two kinds of structure; in meaning aspects, the constituents of three constructions play an important role in their semantic, firstly features on the meaning of“差点â€and“没â€ã€â€œå¥½â€and“ä¸â€ã€â€œä¸è¦â€and“太â€provided conditions for the ambiguity, secondly the semantic characteristics of "VP" and two "X" also have influence on the whole construction’s meaning.The forth chapter mainly does empirical investigation for’‘差点没VPâ€â€œå¥½ä¸Xâ€â€œä¸è¦å¤ªXâ€,to sum up there ambiguity’s degreeã€use tendency and preferred semantics, then analyzes the reasons with linguistic theory.The fifth chapter is conclusion, I makes a brief explanation to how to disambiguate‘差点没VPâ€â€œå¥½ä¸Xâ€â€œä¸è¦å¤ªXâ€,presents the significance of this paper’s findings to Chinese teaching and foreigners’Chinese teaching. At last I make a summary of this paper’s deficiencies and innovation. |
