Lu Xun’s Writing In The Literature History Of Republican Period

Based on the overall exploration of literature works related to Lu Xun’s writing in the history of literature during the Republican period, this paper discovers the pattern of Lu Xun’s writing and the changes of Lu Xun’s image. From the two angles of history and literature, we expand to restore the original image of Lu Xun in the early modern literature history. We further reflect on the historical value and limitation of Lu Xun’s knowledge frame made in the literature history of the Republican period. The whole theory may contribute to the Lu Xun’s writing in the modern time.Analysis of Lu Xun’s writing are from the following three aspects:In the first chapter, we pay attention to the pattern of Lu Xun’s writing and the changes of Lu Xun’s image in the history of literature in the Republican period. The publications of modern literature history in the Republican period can be divided into two patterns. One is historiette attached to the ancient or modern literature history. The other is monograph in the new literature history. Lu Xun’s image in the modern literature history in the Republican period is expressed in three stages. He is anonymous in the early stage.In the second chapter, we try to restore the image of Lu Xun in the history. The literature history in the Republican period is the production of age, which is conform to the age of Lu Xun. The narration of Lu Xun in the literature history in the Republican period has a sense of reality, since the context is similar to Lu Xun’s age. In this chapter, we talk about the original writing of Lu Xun in the early modern literature history from the location of Lu Xun in the literature history, the interpretation of his works, the recording of his literary activities, and the exploration of his thought essence. We explain and summarize the character of Lu Xun’s image in the literature history as a loner, a thinker and a revolutionist. It would be much easier for us to restore the original feature of Lu Xun in the writings born in a background similar to Lu Xun’s age.In the third chapter, we want to commemorate the history and seek enlightenment from the history. The literature history in the Republican period incorporates Lu Xun as a part of the whole history in the first place, and leaves a broad space for Lu Xun’s writing in the later period. The unique cultural environment in the Republican period creates a free and multiple writing of Lu Xun with academic character. The contribution of Lu Xun’s writing made by the writers in the modern literature history in the early stage not only provides a foundation of Lu Xun’s writing, but offers high historical value and possesses significant reference to Lu Xun’s writing in the contemporary literature history.
