This study investigated the early development of spatial pattern analysis ability, mainlydiscuss preschoolers segmentation and integration of simple spatial pattern changes. Firstthree experiments in this research used two-dimensional space graphics as experimentalmaterial, the first experiment using4*3mixed experimental design, the second and thirdexperiments using4*2mixed design of experiment. The set of variables as age, is dividedinto four levels, by age3,3.5,4and4.5years old. Variables in the group are divided into testlevel and operation level. Test level for copying graphics, the operation level that is part of thegraphics is given after completion. The results show that the method of analyzing the spacestyle young children with older children and adults are completely different, and it reveals thechildren’style is divided into parts and the space through the relationship will be part of theoverall developmental changes of the form. The youngest children simple can form a goodsegmentation and separate space into spatially parts, in addition they use simple relationalstructure to integrate those parts. As growth, children can structure combined a more complexrelationship with more complex parts. The fourth experiment in Chinese characters asexperimental material, adopted the same4*2mixed design of experiment confirmed theabove experiment conclusion. Besides we regard Chinese characters as a kind of hieroglyphs,since it has good spatial structure mode.The more closer Chinese characters gets to thegraphics or image processing characters of psychological behavior, the more people get closeto the graphic processing behavior. The conclusion can provide theoretical support for theChinese character writing teaching. And we predict that the writing can improve the ability ofchildren’s spatial pattern analysis, the conclusion can provide teaching reference for thecurrent education system, it has the practical significance.
