"Exsultate Jubilate" is a set of very famous soprano divertimento repertoire in Mozart’s religious works. This work was composed for the concert scheduled to January17,1773at the Church of San Antonio in Milan, which included three motets. Abandoning the simple content formats of the traditional church music, it employed orchestra as accompaniment, so that the short church hymn showed its magnificence like the arias in the operas, gorgeous but yet divine. Although it is a motet, it is similar to vocal music divertimento from the three movements under the same theme, and vocal and instrumental concerto from the musical form and orchestration, so it is very unique and representative. From a brief biography of the composer, this paper elaborates the musician’s complex of and influence on religious music. It also does a brief analysis of the work in terms of creative background and artistic value, but it mainly focuses on its artistic skills, specifically from the areas of the musical form structure, language and lyrics specification, dynamic and melodic style, and singing skills, digging its singing state and performing skills that it should be in the concert and stage performance.
