| Drama translation plays an important role in literary translation. How to translate foreign dramas and bring them on stage, according to foreign culture and custom, has become a great task and mission for us literature lovers. The type of this translation task belongs to drama translation. The Rimers of Eldritch of Lanford Wilson is the main research object of this report, making use of Ferdinand de Saussure’s theory of Semiotics and Lawrence Venuti’s theory of Domestication and Foreignization, aiming at solve the problem in translation process. This paper also preliminarily discusses the some principles, which we should follow in drama translation, taking advantage of related theory of translation aesthetics to carry on preliminary study. |
