Western Images And Imagery Thinking Of Bian Zhilin’s Poetry

Bian Zhilin was famous for his "intellect poetry", and consciously learnt from westernculture. This paper uses the image and imagery thinking as a starting point, through the analysisand grasp of the Bian Zhilin1930-1937poems, western and chinese culture and thinking, toexplore the western imagery and imagery thinking of Bian Zhilin’s poetry. Because of thedifferent social forms, the western thinking is different from chinese thinking,and the mostfundamental is that China traditional thinking is the ethical thinking,but western thinking is thecognitive thinking. In the process of Chinese poetry’s change, along with the Western gunboatand technology,western culture has become the first resource to chinese social and culturalchange, and invisibly impact Chinese thinking. As one of the pioneers in Chinese poetry, BianZhilin consciously absorbed wester culture such as the influence of western modern poetry,traditional western culture, the western scientific cognition of the ontology of the universe andlife itself etc. Bian Zhilin not only consciously elutriated the image in western culture, but alsovirtually changed his image thinking, so as to make his poetry image and imagery thinkingappears western color obviously.
